Scarborough paper applicant here from aug 2021..bg completed in Nov 2021, test in Feb 2022 but nothing since

There is no "risk" in applying for a PR card while you have a citizenship application going on.

How would it mess with the citizenship application? Just curious, because I have both in the works right now.

Upon digging deeper, you're right, it shouldn't matter.

Wow 17 days for Mississauga office is a lot. Ppl usually receive it within a week in mississauga. Does your friend live in Mississauga (Or GTA) also.. or does he live somewhere else?

I live in GTA and took Oath on 6th June one of our frnd took oath on 28th May and got thr certificate on 6th June

yea this is the kinda timeline I was expecting from Mississauga office to deliver certificates! hopefully we get ours soon!

I happened to stumble into the June 2022 thread (yep, for this very month) and am seeing data points like:

Location: Ottawa
Physical Presence Days: 1,103
Application: Single
Application submitted: June 2, 2022
AOR: June 6, 2022

Holy moly, AOR in two freaking days. What's the point of such a fast AOR if the rest of the process is crawling away like watching snow melt? I am happy for these applicants, but IRCC better hurry our applications up else the backlog will be ever-increasing for themselves.

I don't think that AOR means much. The AOR is just a means to tell applicants that they have received it. But whether it's actually being processed is a different thing. I got my AOR in Feb 2022 and since then they haven't even open my file.

what is the average wait time for oath after test? My test status updated to Complete on April 4th. No movement since then... Any info on the processing time for online applicants?
