NY VAC - Processing Timeline/Delays

Hi Guys,
Should I be worried? It's been almost a month and I have not received my passport. Any help will be highly appreciated.

My timeline
April 27th - Ready for Visa email
May 2nd - Passport mailed to VFS NY
May 3rd - Passport delivered at VFS NY
May 3rd - Email: Your application has been dispatched to IRCC for processing
May 4th - Email: Your application has been received and is under process at the IRCC Office

Great news congratulations, looks like your passport was received on April 27th. Mine is on May 5th so there is a week gap. Hopefully I will hear something this week or early next week.

Hey no update till now, I think we are in a situation where we need to make some noise. Call IRCC/VFS, send emails, raise web forms. Contact Canadian MP if possible.

I will wait 2 more days and start doing the above. This is unacceptable on many counts.

I agree with you. I have already raised webform couple of times and got the generic reply. Calling VFS is not helping - already tried.
Trying to see if there is a contact number for IRCC.

8882422100 IRCC number, call using a textnow app with Canadian number. Tip call early morning around 8ish.

Did not receive any email.

I am also sailing in the same boat , passport sent 3 weeks back no response from NY IRCC. How much exactly it took like total number of days?

After almost a month, finally received update in my CIC portal yesterday - application approved.
Still waiting for an update on passport. Will keep everyone posted.

Hey, I got a message from IRCC in my portal regarding issuance of COPR/Visa with counterfoil number and validity. Although no update on passports dispatch. How about you?

from what I've been reading we have a month's wait ahead

Ours is a sponsorship application, processed in London VO, principal applicant is from Pakistan currently on J1 visa status in US.

@starlordavuthu Here is the latest email I got few minutes ago - The decision envelope for your application, tracking ID No. XXXXXXXX has been dispatched from the IRCC Office, to the Canada Visa Application Centre in USA, New York.

How about you?
