IRCC said they're finalizing my application. What does it mean?

Well, your interview was part of the process to finalize your application. They were at that time probably working on your application. You should call them and ask for an update on your application or request ATIP notes to see the notes made by the Citizenship officer.

Thank you! Yes, IRCC received it Nov 20, 2020. That is definitely sucks, I would contact them, because it's been a long time since your test. Did you get an update that they confirmed your test results?

I did get a results confirmed update right away when i finished my test. And I got a ghost update on Feb 22nd, but since then nothing, I did call them, just said nothing is needed, still processing. Guess, just gotta stop looking at it and it happens when it does.

Hello @Carla2016 , do you happen to know any 2020 applicants from Edmonton office? I’m trying to put together a timeline to make sense of this mess.

Every other office seems to be processing November/ December 2020 applicants except Edmonton. And applicants from October haven’t updated the tracker either so really not sure where Edm is in terms of timeline.

I know of "sasks2020" who is Edmonton office appart from that nothing. I am slowly giving up on this citizens ship process. It's tiring like literally.

Hi everyone! my portal items all show completed now after a long wait, except for the citizenship ceremony, which is in progress. I noticed this almost 2 weeks ago, and although I see a ceremony date on the portal for next week, I still haven’t received the email with details / time / URL.

does anyone know when one usually receives that? I’m wondering if I should contact them now, or wait only until 2-3 days before the date shown in the portal?

If I were you, I’ll call them atleast a week in advance and request for the email to be resent.
