Hi friends, today called to ircc to get status updates. A very kind lady disclosed very stunning information regarding file journey. Started from CPC-M >london uk > Vancouver > London Ontario
Does any one got file transfered to London Ontario? Or agent made any error?
She said your file is complete, just waiting to be picked by officer to review.

Same story with my file as well. I am not sure if my file is complete though, I was told it is pending security check by my MP. everything else has been passed!

Question : wondering how IRCC call center provided you with this update, every time I phone in, all they say is file is in London and since it is in a different country we cannot provide the status update.

Two days back i wrote an email to ircc london, they told me in ambiguous words that i should raise web form as the file is inland, i was very worried as my mp had told me that file is transferred from Vancouver to London, and this london uk officer is telling me it is not in London and further he is not guiding me where on earth is my file. So called help line and after 50min wait time an officer cleared the matter, she said from Vancouver it went to London Ontario (and not London uk) and it is complete and whenever an officer will touch it it will be cleared instantly. Now what my mp told me is different from what agent told me. My mp told me that Crimnality check not complete, but this agent told me there is no adverse comments on file and it is complete, my mp told me that file transfered to London (not telling London uk or London Ontario) phone agent told me file transfered to London Ontario from Vancouver as there is heavy load in Vancouver. You better call helpline and get info regarding file location. Patiently wait for an hour to know the fate of your file. Do share out come. Good luck

The PGP files must be online within the IRCC network and only assignment of case processing officers may be changing.
No need to worry about the file transfers as your parents will surely get PR soon. @rockwidme

For all countries she has lived consecutively for 6 months+ except for Canada. If Canadian clearance is necessary, IRCC will request a RCMP check.

Got PR approval letter last Friday. 10 months waiting after PPR... But finally we can apply for temporary OHIP card! Got huge help from our MP and I am sure only this has helped.

Hello All, Need advice on something. Got letter from CIC for passport submission for my parents. Does anyone know how to submit the passport? The letter says to submit the package at VFS, do they need to personally go and submit it? Can someone please suggest how can we submit the passport?

I got a request for medicals and police report. Right now my mum is in the USA and is not able to go back to Canada before the deadline for the medicals and police report from home country.

I need to get her to do her finger print and send it to home country. Is there a place I can do finger print in USA for Police Clearance Certificate?

Also, for the medicals can I do it in the USA since she is not in Canada at the moment,

Would appreciate your feedback.

Medical can be done at any panel physician's clinic (USA, Canada, home counrty)

Make sure that you are reading the replies. @serious_cheese and @YVR123 have replied your queries.
For finger printing, your country's diplomatic mission (the embassy) may help in the USA.

To my knowledge, pick up service is used in India for PPR submission once you book that through VFS closest your parents' address.
