can you please share how to apply for CBSA notes link and process? I have applied for my GCMS notes in April but haven't got anything yet. I will apply for CBSA notes too in the meanwhile, please share the link & steps.
Hello everyone,
I applied under essential non healthcare optio on July 10. no update.
anyone else in same boat from same date range.
also when trying to link for the last question number of family members do u use the total people from family mentioned in family form including yourself? Thanks a lot!
I applied maybe the same as yours on July 7, 2021, Stream B, essential worker non healthcare English stream.
No AOR so far.
But I saw some one here on July 9 got the TFN, I am thinking that it is hopefully to get the AOR recently.
Anyway, in June, base on the news in Feb, I can apply the extension for my work permit 2024.
So, that is it.
Just wait.
BTW,
It seems like the French Stream have less person than others, so they are done faster than others, it seems like IRCC put the same resource for each stream.
I had my chance to try the French one, but I got an IELTS chance so... If I know... Ahh~~~~~~
Anyway, the French test result comes out so slow, like more than 2 months, IELTS only take 1 week, maybe that's why there are less person in that stream.

Sure, CBSA is more responsible in my opinion, yesterday I received an email and they mentioned that they need an extension of 30days to gather all of the information. At least they respond in case of delays.
Applying for CBSA note is very similar to apply for GCMS note via IRCC.
3) On the next page for department select Canada Border Services Agency.
For the next drop down select Individual/corporation currently present in Canada then enter your personal information.
The last three dropdowns at the bottom of the page should be "Yes", "Member of the Public" and "electronic copy", respectively.
4) For next page, select Access to Information Act and for type of records select Case Files. Then, enter the remaining information.
In the explanation box at the bottom make sure to include the followings:
- permanent residency under TR2PR pathway
- application #
- UCI
- Date submitted
- Full name of the principal applicant
- Date of birth
Then, continue to payment page. The cost is the same as GCMS which is $5.

I didn't receive AOR, but I got my BIL today, March 16th.
Linked application: March 16th Eligibility - In progress
Review of medical results: Passed - March 10th No additional documents needed Biometrics: Not needed (I got a BIL via email and scheduled an appointment)
Background check - In progress
I'm just happy they've started applications submitted May 7th.
We're almost there guys!
Just wondering if anyone is in the same situation as I am.
There's been no updates, NADA from IRCC since March 16th, not even ghost updates.
2 of my friends just got their PR in the last 2 weeks and I got my AOR before they did. I'm happy for them and everyone who received their PR recently, but I'm kinda getting worried something might be wrong with my application.
Is anyone else in this situation too? I hope this is normal.
I got my AOR in march and after that I received request to submit IMM5669 again in may , I already did that on May 10. Then I received email from IRCC on may 19 that we received your documents but after that I didn’t hear anything back . I think I missed some information on form . They specific asked to upload form with no gaps in address and activities . What can I do in this case ? can I send them webform again with missing information ? Please let me know .
thank you

Yes, the only way to send another form with the complete information is through webform.
Fill another imm5669 and also prepared an explanation letter. In the letter mention the parts that has been changed/added and attach both files in a webform.

Explanation letter is a document file which you can prepare to provide information about your application/documents.
The template should be something like this:
In the top, you include your full name, DOB, application number, UCI, date prepared and the title (which is "Explanation Letter")
Then, you start your sentence with: "Dear Immigration Officer, ..."
You need to mention why are you provide this document, i.e. a mistake in a form, provide supporting information, etc.
Then, if it's about a form mention the question(s) that requires attention. And say that you filled a newly separated and completed imm#### form and it's been attached with this enquiry.
I haven't seen some got rejected because of such issues. Imm 5669 is not the only form that has your DOB, besides misrepresentation or not providing any information can lead to refusal but personally I don't think a missing DOB is an issue. I heard people got approved with missing signatures let alone this.
