Nope and I’m in Ottawa so I’m expecting delays

I am in ottawa too and hoping to get it in time to apply for passport before travel. Do you happen to know which office have smaller lines ottawa or gatineau?

Only been to the ottawa passport office and the lines are always long

I did my oath yesterday May 24. My application was approved for urgent processing and I was told that I should get the certificate within 3-4 business days. Shouldn’t the application be marked as closed first before sending the cert? I checked today and still nothing changed.

I would assume the file should be closed before sending the certificate.

I'm scheduled for the June 28 ceremony as well. Does anyone know how to ask for reschedule? I cannot attend as I have international travel the following week...

you need to send to the email in the invitation. I had travel plans too but they didn't accept to postpone unless it is urgent. My understanding if you miss it, you have a chance to appear again

could I ask how you contacted them. I sent a web enquiry 3 weeks ago as I have had everything raked complete except the oath since March!!

I have heard nothing back from the web form (except a generic “we got your enquiry” and am feeling both frustrated and anxious about why it is taking so long. I keep seeing people get their oath scheduled a short time after everything is complete and i will have been almost 3 months now.

Not sure if that is coincidence but my other three was marked 16 and i have send email 3 days later for the same email of the test so 25 respond and 26 i see was made in progress, but respond i got was coming weeks to expect that day as i informed i want to travel.
