There are people like that in every industry, unfortunately. I'm sure a lot of people here have been in Canada for many years, some even have been working as professionals for a while. Getting PR solo is absolutely an accomplishment for many people. Sadly, sometimes with a few exceptions, we are still here waiting for answers.

Also, the citizenship is the next story for us. Currently, it takes 27 months!

Perhaps, when it's time for that, we could apply 6 - 12 months before we are actually eligible.

That way, by the time they eventually get to our applications, we would be eligible...

You have to meet the eligibility at the time of applying. So that’s 27 months in addition to the 1095 days of physical stay in Canada after receiving your PR. Hopefully in 3 years, the processing time is going to be faster. Currently they’re busy with the Ukrainian refugees, and before that they were busy with Afghan refugees. Let’s hope there’s no more war in the future so they process everyone else’s requests …

"
We called IRCC yesterday and this was the information provided on your TR to PR application:

1. It was received n May 13, 2021 and it is being processed in CPC Sydney Nova Sctia.
2. Background checks are in progress
3. Medical passed
4. They received all the documents you submitted re: language test

We will follow up in two-month, if necessary.

Spoke to my immigration lawyer- they mentioned that ircc has stopped processing just letting out tfn and basic information to applicants since they are preparing for CEC July.

23rd Feb Medical passed
24th March User representative form submitted (IMM5476)..not able to upload via portal so raised Webform recieved confirmation today(19thMay2022).
25th March ADR changed to not applicable
30th Biometrics refund letter.
31st March AOR.
Ghost update 25th April medical status changed(since expired).
26th April -Called up IRCC- file moved to Whitehorse visa office.

Contacted IRCC and MP office - Medical and Criminality passed No ADRs yet.
Eligibility and security in progress.

Waiting for some positive news.

Any whitehorses (Visa office pendancies) came out of there stable/Barn yet?

I sent an email. I just wrote about my situation and asked how they could help. They will reply to you with a form that you need to fill out before they go talk to CIC.
