Have you checked the old tracker to see if it's moved to DM? I did my test in June '21 and all my other stuff was updated on Nov 2 but no word on oath yet... hopefully soon!

My old ECAS tracker did not get update since 2021 Sep, all further updates only on new tracker for me.

Has anyone here received their Canadian passport after applying recently? Or is there a group for March/April/May passport applicants? I am hearing it takes 2+ months to get your passport.

Where you in Canada at the time of the interview? Was the interview online? What did they ask.

Here's my timeline:
Application sent- July 1st 2020
AOR Sent- January 4th 2021
Background marked Complete- March 2nd 2021
Citizenship test invite- September 16th 2021
Citizenship test taken- October 3rd 2021
Interview with Immigration Officer- February 15th 2022
Asked for more evidence of physical presence sent- February 16th 2022
Prohibition and Language skills marked completed- Feb 15th 2022
Physical Presence marked completed- March 4th 2022


I have a question about some things, So on the Client application status it was marked Decision Made, then the next day my physical presence was marked completed. I do still have on the more indepth application status site the message on top "Send us additional information" but it was on there before and I want to think the guy forgot to take it off once he marked my physical presence completed. Has anyone dealt with something like this before? Does this mean I should be expecting my oath ceremony to change from "Not Started" to "Completed" soon?

Nervous because my PR card expires soon. Thanks for any responses!

Received my cert on Friday. 9 days after the ceremony (I’m in Calgary) and 4 days after status update on my account. Passport appointment is scheduled for May 20! Need to travel for work on June 6 :|

Unfortunately it looks like this is increasingly normal. I passed my test in June 21, got DM on Nov 2, and in almost 6 months nothing on my oath. I believe there are a lot of people in this situation. Once I hit 6 months, I'll email my processing office (Ottawa) using the address they sent trhe test invite too and ask what's happening. I've also heard people who did their oath months ago, haven't received their certificate, so while we are near the end, it seems plenty can and is still going wrong.

I am also waiting for the ceremony for my daughter. She passed her citizenship test in November 2021, all sessions are completed only ceremony section not started yet.
She is from Ottawa as well, anyone who is waiting for citizenship ceremony for the last 6months, please share your thoughts.

I emailed ottawa at the address they sent my test invite and received an automated response that said my asking for an update was delaying everyone and to wait... That was 3 weeks ago. I signed the petition above also... I'm not sure what else to do really
