Hi all,

I submitted online visitor visa application on the new portal for my mother on April 17 2022.
Her bio metrics was completed on April 22 2022. I am seeing that update on the portal.
The visa application is showing "in process".
Canadian Consulate : Bangalore, India.

Is there anyone else who submitted the visitor visa application around the same time-frame? I am trying to see how long does the visitor visa applications are taking at this time in India.

Check for processing time. It's around 120 days from India. I applied for my parents in Jan, biometrics was done the next day but no response till today.

It is showing 123 days now. Just that my mom's colleague applied and got her PPR within a week.

I feel processing time means nothing when my mother applied for super visa the processing time was showing 6 months n my mother application exceeded the time for more than 5 months n nothing happend till now the processing time increased so much n there is nothing ..

i submitted visit visa application online since 03/05/2021 and biometric done 3days after....its over one year now, no respond and no update on my GCKey website profile.

Can't you check with IRCC about the status of the application? I think we can submit a webform for it.

You mean it has been 11+ months since you submitted the super visa application and have not got any update?

You mean it has been 11+ months since you submitted the super visa application and have not got any update?

Now it is been 13 months and nothing ,,, they only requested medical exam wich is done almost 3 months ago and nothing happend

IRCC is backlogged a lot due to Covid.

If you are within normal processing times you should not contact IRCC. You have only recently applied.

Did you reapply through the new portql? Anyone who applied before September 2021 was told to reapoly using the new portal.

No I meant for kenny9212001. They had submitted the application last year.
