I'm a single applicant, but I heard two contradict information. One says that is the only way, one says it's the personal choice. Apparently, some single applicant also applied with paper, which I should have done

You will know when you receive the test invitation email.

Thanks yeah it says “We started processing your application on April 28”.

Background Check Completed on May 2nd.

Why paper for a single applicant? Online is so much easier to submit. The processing times between the two are not big at all...

The thing is, it appears to be quite a big gap of processing times between paper and online.

According to the tracker, only paper applicants in January and February (excluding Hary123, since he applied in emergency) have either received test invitation or BG completion. There is not yet a single online applicant report that their background check is finished, or they have received test invitation.

This is why I am resenting myself, because I applied online thinking the exact reason you described (online is much easier for sure), but it is processing much slower as compare to paper...

Hey I saw on the spreadsheet that the test is "Test Interview" I tough it was an online test only, but interview? Is that a camera on interview? Does anyone knows?

It says Test Interview on the spreadsheet because everyone would have an interview and document verification when they went to do the test in person. Now they only ask some people to do video or audio interviews long after the test.

I feel like I am also regretting the online application. I've had no movement at all beyond my AOR back on March 17
