The test will be very difficult . They twist the question like an example the chicken crossed the road in the year 1812 . In which year did the chicken think about crossing the road?

I have a window of April 18- May 8 for my test. I haven't studied yet but am supper worried about it. I have always struggled with history in school, my worst nightmare kind of subject. Anytime I read anything history based my brain doesn't seem to register what I am reading even if I read it like 10 times, any tips? Thanks

First, watch the Citizenship test 414 Questions video on YouTube. You will get a general idea of what you are gonna learn.
Then the storybook part of the guide - Pg 10 - 23
Who were the people who lived in this land called Canada - try to link each set of people to the next and what they do, for example, first few events are..
Original people of the land - Aboriginals
European explorers came to explore the land
French settlers came for fur-trade and made New France
The English settlers came with their Hudson Bay Company
Eventually French v English battle for Canada - English wins
Now to rule the French-speaking Canadians, British Parliament allows religious freedom to hold office. - French Catholics can now work.
13 British colonies declare independence from Britain and forms the USA
USA's American revolution - Loyalists come back to Canada
So now Canada has some peaceful time and we are introduced to Democracy - people can vote
After Democracy the next big thing is Abolishing Slavery
The US likes to go on war and thus USA vs Britan war for Canada - Canada wins
We form 1st Government as a New Country - Dominion of Canada .. more provinces join Canada
World war 1, lots of men go to battle
so women back in Canada are getting powerful - Suffragen movement - Women get to Vote
World war 2 and then UN forms, WTO forms, etc.. etc..
Then we have
* What is crown, government, judiciary, and famous people and their contributions
* some trivia about each province.
Thats the bare structure of the guide. Now read these stories a few times and you will be good for a mock test.
hey guys, all the sections in my portal have been marked as completed as of this morning, except the citizenship ceremony. Any idea on how soon can I expect the oath ceremony to be?
