• Each day of physical presence in Canada as an authorized temporary resident or protected person before becoming a permanent resident, counts as one half day, with a maximum of 365 days credit towards physical presence.

That is good to know but if I had taken a vacation while on work permit will each day be counted as 0.5 would you know?

e.g. If I had taken a vacation for 20 days during the year I was on temporary work permit will they count it as 10 days will you know?

Old tracker changed to Decision Made today. Exactly 3 months after my test. Woohoo

How long is the wait from DM to Oath invite?

Also nothing else updated on the new tracker....

Keep on checking on ECAs and email dont rely on the new tracker as it is not updated anymore after April 12.Same as my Wife Citizenship Oath still in progress and its been 2 weeks now since she got the Oath invitation.Surrey Office too

I had the same. DM and a week later Oath. Also NO CHANGES at all in the new tracker since all the final statuses went to Completed which is unusual.

Try with the receipt number. Are you talking about ECAS or new tracker?

The new tracker that they mentioned on the website. I tried emailing them but no response.

Passed my test on Nov.1 2021, everything on the tracker still showing processing (except for background check). This is taking forever and ever......

Hi , DM on 21st April 2022 on old tracker and New tracker just got updated today with Prohibition status completed. Anybody in the same boat. Any idea when can I expect the oath ceremony. Please share your input. Thanks

Got Oath ceremony invite for May 11.
But I already applied for Indian Passport as I had to travel.
Could anyone know how much tentative time it takes to get the certificate ?

Hi Everyone, I took my oath yesterday. Finally this journey has come to end or you can say a new beginning. Thank you to all the members for supporting with your queries. Tracker is showing everything "Completed" as of today. ( Both ECAS and new one). Good luck with your applications.

sometime in June I guess, but it seems they are speeding things up.
