After medical do they still do the 2nd verification eligibility cuz I talked to my mp she said they are doing verification eligibility for my mother n law

That changed long time ago not sure why it’s taking long now after redo medical passed

May I ask where did you apply from?Has your father have previous US/Canada visa at all? I applied for mom via new portal on Mar 28, medical passed Apr 18. My mom has never travelled anywhere before so I’m a bit nervous. Hopefully we will get good news like you soon

My father is in India and he was having SUPERvisa earlier but he never travelled and it was expiring in June 2022. He renewed the passport and old passport & visa got cancelled. So, I applied again to get new visa stamp for his new passport.

Mar 13 2022: Application submitted
March 21: Medical Request
March 30: Medical done
Apr 12: Medical passed
Apr 19 : Biometrics valid letter

Review of eligibility started but no PPR yet.
Any idea how long will it take for the decision

Yes ,I also have similar time-line for my parents
Applied on 9th dec2021,
Biometric 29th dec2021
Medical passed 17th feb2022
Eligibility review started 24th feb2022
No further progress

Last time when I applied for a visitor visa for my father, and got refused, it took 18 days after biometric got updated.

No @bonmatin2022 , eligibility hasn’t started yet. Everything is still the same since medical passed on Apr 18.

My mom has never travelled anywhere before which worried me a bit too.

For Super Visa that is not a requirement, for visitor visa it is a plus point...

Yes I applied my in laws visa in December, Medical passed 16th Feb, nothing after that, did raised couple of webforms, informed me that the file is in Delhi Canada office.

Same here but we applied on April 2021 medical passed 18 feb amd expired in March. New medical submitted but no update yet.
