except now passport may take months .... lol oh it never ends ...

yeah 8 weeks for the citizenship ceremony
2 weeks to receive the certificate
2 weeks for a passport appointment
4 weeks to receive the passport.

So in all a good 4 months in the best-case scenario. and you fly with a Canadian passport.

If you are cutting it close during the passport processing you can share your travel documents and request them for an expedited request

Apr 25, 2021 - Application submitted

Aug 20, 2021 - AOR

Nov 12, 2021- Test notification (Nov 19 - Dec 9 window for exam)

Dec 6, 2021- Test completed and updated

Jan 24, 2022- Background check completed

March 22, 2022 - Language, prohibitions and physical presence completed

Apr 13, 2022 - Oath ceremony email with zoom link sent

April 22, 2022- Oath ceremony

Processing office Scarborough,ON

The new tracker seems to be broken. So if you get any correspondence from IRCC by email, follow the instructions and complete the action items from your end.

no, the other tracker shows everything but background and citizenship test in progress, and oath not started.

im in the same boat ! decision made on old ecas and only background check completed in the new ecas ! no test to do as the applicant is a parent

do you know which date got your decision made ? should we wait now up to two months to receive oath invite ?

Just called IRCC and she said that all categories are complete and I just need to wait for the oath. She mentioned the 27 month estimated processing time, but didn’t say anything about the tracker not updating.
Hoping I get oath soon, but not the same day I have an important exam! That’s in 3 weeks, so I’m slightly nervous it’ll overlap. Fingers crossed if it does, I find out about the oath with enough time to reschedule the exam.
