It is really sad to hear this but you can also send a webform to process your card urgently by sending them the tickets you have already booked and some sort of proof that you need to go outside Canada. I am pretty sure the process will be faster like this.
Well, they won't... they sent me the link to check processing times. Through webform and also by replying back to the RP confirmation portal email (real agents are checking on those)...

But yeah, we're almost on the 106 days of processing as it shows on the ircc processing time website...

I have a question I have received the first email separately for myself and my dependents. I have replied in one email all the requested information Is it ok or we need to reply separately.

 Name:
 UCI:
 Email:(one for the whole family)
 Original entry date:
 Date of last time you entered Canada:
 Location where you last entered:
 Are you currently inside Canada:
 If you are not inside Canada, when is your expected return date:
One reply is enough. Dependents don't need to do anything.

Hi All,
Reading about situations where people got their eCOPR but haven't received their PR card and can't travel because of that.
I wonder if it's possible to travel on Work permit visa.

I might face similar situation soon where I need to travel before I get PR card but I do have temporary visa (due to open work permit) valid till mid of next year.
Can't I use that to travel till I get PR card?
The company a work for asked lawyers, BB Immigration, if I could leave the country and they said I could not use my Work Permit no more to enter the country because as soon they finish my application and send the eCoPR my work permit is no longer valid. They said very clearly that they do not recommend leave Canada until I get my pr card.

Today was supposed to be the day I received PAL per the immigration tracker @ValeriaS made but alas it’s come and gone. It’s ok since I understand these are all estimates but I was kinda hoping for an Easter miracle this “Good Friday”. Oh well. It was worth a shot to have the hope. Now back to my hopelessness per usual. Hope you all have a good holiday weekend.

I am sorry for your loss :(

It was easier on our end to explain things as they pretty much knew the whole process and what was to come as we had plans to go as soon as the cards arrived. Thing is, her father passed suddenly a day after we became permanent residents.
She has to go to sort out some papers and stuff that she has to sign for inheritance but eh... still locked in Canada because of that.
Hi So sorry for the tough situation you and your partner are in. I have some questions as I am currently waiting for my PR (can take a month or several months, hard to say, received Pre-arrival last month) to be approved, but I also need to go to the US where my spouse lives. Ideally I would go as soon as I get my PR, but from your post, it seems that I will have to wait until I actually get the PR card, which of course takes a lot of time. I had thought the moment I got the decision, I could leave. This could mean that I won't actually leave Canada to the US for 3-4 months.
What's even puzzling me more is that I have also recently applied to renew my work permit which expires on April 30. I will be on implied status starting next month meaning I can't leave the country until either 1) I get my new work permit, or 2) I get my PR.
But once I get the PR my WP will become invalid, right? So if my PR is approved but I don't receive the card, I will still be stuck in Canada?

Anyone, any suggestions would be helpful. I need to understand realistically how long I might have to stay in Canada.
