I was busy waiting for oath notification, but all I got 2 days ago was an email to send in proof of provincial residence(driver’s license or health card).

does anyone know how long it will take them to get back to me? Language, presence and prohibition are still in progress. Test done end of nov 2021.

I am so happy right now. It’s not oath yet, but at least all my columns are now completed remaining just the ceremony.

I pray I get favoured in this new week.

I did test in sep 21 and no movement post that. Only background check and citizenship test are marked complete and rest all in progress. Anyone from Scarborough office in the same situation. Thanks

You may wish to write to them requesting a spot for the oath should there is availability- it has worked wonders for many. No harm in trying !

Not sure what to do.... I applied in April 2021, got my AOR in June 2021 and my background verification was updated in September 2021. And then NOTHING. My file hasn't been updated since September 2021. And I'm hearing of people who applied after I did already doing their citizenship exams and waiting for their ceremonies. How do I find out what happened to my application?

Hey yes I’m single applicant and it’s getting very frustrating now. It’s been almost 1 year and still no test so I posted here to make sure that I’m not the only one who didn’t receive test invite. Some of my friends who applied after me are awaiting their oaths and many of them are even done with oath

That’s very sad. The crazy thing is that because of the 27 month processing time, they can argue that it hasn’t elapsed that time yet. You may try requesting for your file via ATIP.

I wrote them last night as you suggested and I got a response this morning. My Oath spot was fixed for April 29th at 12:30pm.

Does anyone know if I can get an express passport?? I have a trip 3rd week of May.

I haven’t gotten the instruction email yet. This mail was from my citizenship officer.

Hello awesome folks!

I just received the oath ceremony email (letter) by email! I guess it is happening (fingers crossed).

I realized the ceremony is at 11 AM PST. Is this normal? For some reason I thought all ceremonies took place earlier!
