Hello,

We submitted our parents supervisa file on old portal. Timeline:

Advance medical done on 28 Feb 2021
File submitted on 6 April 2021
Biometrics done on 9 August 2021
Medical approved on 18 Feb 2022 but medical expired on 10 March 2022.

We are not sure if we should get medical done again or not?

We checked with MP office, they said that criminality is done and review of eligibility has not started yet.

any suggestion will be helpful.
Did anyone get approval for their old portal application?

They will ask u for sure to redo medical probably this month , my parents n laws medical expired in March and there redoing there medical in April

thanks for your response, I have booked the appointment for April. But IRCC hasn’t asked us for medical yet. What’s the status of your medical? Did you get request for medicals? Or you are also getting it done on your own?

They will ask u soon for redo medical just wait for the letter and no we didn’t request to redo they sent the letter to redo it again before ppr

My parents will be doing Medical done next week they said Islamabad location is really busy I’m hoping after medical is ppr last stage

has your eligibility review started yet?

ours not yet.

Yes it says they are reviewing the eligibility requirements so I’m guessing the medical is last thing they need from my parents

Also it’s old portal we didn’t reapply cuz mp said we don’t need to this is our timeline we applied last year March 17, 2021, medicals upfront March 2021
And they reopened the files in January 2022

So you are almost there..I read on this forum that you get PPR just after the eligibility review.

Am not saying old portal will not work.. i said for those who applied via old portal, if you re-submit via new portal the application moves faster. Thats what we have all done here and seen.. Old portal applications will be processed, but might be some delay. You could go and read the IRCC website on the instructions sent out if you need priority...

No, it is not written anywhere that Old portal have slow reply and Process and IRCC don't recommend go via OLD/New Portal, Thanks

Medical need to perform again , you will get a communication soon on this from IRCC
