I have applied for my parent in Nov 14 2021 with upfront medical on Jan 21 2022. Medical was pass on Feb 21 2022, after that no updates. I have used below link for online application, can some please clarify if this is old GCkey or new IRCC method ? also please provide the link for other method

My mother’s medical exam passed on Feb18 2022 after they requested n till now there is no updates could you please tell when u get any updates t

if you have submitted via new portal your application number will start with v4 and if in gckey it will start with v3

Medical query - my parents got upfront medical examination done already. i have their blood work report +emedical information sheet with me. My questions is
1- is information sheet is what i am submitting
2- they did the chest x ray but i dont see any report any where.
3- this is supervisa application. is there any link with a IMM 1017B form?

I would greatly appreciate a response. Thank you

Hi I have similar timelines as yours. My parents never did a medical exam. They neither received any medical requests. But today I received a request to provide medical insurance. Does that make sense? Will they still be asked to provide medical exam?

Medical Insurance and Medical Examination are two different things
For Parents Super Visa , both need to be completed
- Medical Insurance must be of minimum CAD100000 and for 1 year (Not Quotation, you must buy it)
- For Medical Exam. you can do upfront and update IRCC

I sent my parents passport Supervisa Application and IRCC received them on 24th March.

How much time it takes for them to process and send back the passports?

You need to re-apply via new portal....

Why ? where it is written IRCC is accepting Super Visa Application via New portal only ?
If you go to IRCC website and Supervisa apply and click online it will redirect to GIC login website only

IRCC don't confuse people , If any old link is not valid they will not all to apply via old link
So Old link is also valid and can be used

In New link , from where the Invitation Code for Super Visa anyone will get ? So that's why Old link is also valid for any application

have applied for parent's super visa in Feb 2020, they got their medical done twice and everything seems complete, however, we haven't yet received the passport request. Could you please help me

I believe you wanted to say Feb 2022.
Why they have to do Medical 2 Times ? any specific reason ?
When you are checking the Online status what it is showing for Eligibility /Criminal check/Medical status ?

1- Yes (Only upload e medical information sheet )
2- You don't need to worry , internally report submitted
3- Don't need to do any think in case of Upfront Medical

Am not saying old portal will not work.. i said for those who applied via old portal, if you re-submit via new portal the application moves faster. Thats what we have all done here and seen.. Old portal applications will be processed, but might be some delay. You could go and read the IRCC website on the instructions sent out if you need priority...
