NEED HELPS!
This is my case:
Received email asking for information and confirm email: mar 11
Traveling outside Canada: mar 20
Received PR Portal: mar 22
Will return to Canada: may 25
My PR status now is Initiated. I already have PR portal so can I take the next step after 2 months, when I come back to Canada? Or I have to declare by sending an email that I am outside of Canada?

Interesting situation. Not sure what to do or if you’ve already figured out a solution.

In the case of my parents, I’m pretty sure their email said that we had to confirm their details on the portal within a certain number of days.

So I’m not sure if waiting would be a good idea.

How did you resolve this issue? I am in the same situation right now. Myself and my wife moved to USA and now received PR portal request but I am not able to go to canada due to stamping issue.
