Why are there differences in between offices?
Can one request a change in processing office?

its because we applied online individually since online does not accept family applications yet. In family paper applications it is always same processing office. But in online applications it can be processed by any processing office.

This is exactly our scenario, we both applied online from GTA just 5 mins apart but mine went to NGF (Decision Made now) and her's went to MTL (same status as yours).

I wonder why this happened. And MTL office is slow as per the forum here. Keep me posted plz.

Sorry, I meant why are there differences in processing times in between offices generally speaking. Shouldn't the level of service be the same no matter the office?

Only if this was true, all of us wouldn’t have to go through this frustration. Ircc works in strange ways

Same here, bg check completed early Dec test completed since Dec 21 -- have you raised any web form or requested GCMS? I wonder if I can inquire in any way? My PR card will be expiring soon... this is extremely frustrating..

I had raised a webform but now webform is also taking huge time. I don’t think there is any other way other than waiting. This is indeed very frustrating. At least they can complete everything except oath, but even that they are not doing

Oath done this morning. Took about 2.5 hours, there were about 130 participants. Montreal office.

Overall nice experience. The 2 videos shown about Canada were very nice.

I and my husband applied together from GTA area but my file went to MTL office and my husbands went to NGF. He got his oath and I am still on BG and Test complete since last 5 months.

Same thing, and my files are with MTL... Took the test in Nov, and I am still waiting...
