BG check is yet to be completed. And all the other areas are still in process. But the test is online, and we can take it anywhere, right? Same with the oath taking? Do we need to be in Canada to take the test and the oath? Thank you.

test can be taken anywhere in world ( as long as you email IRCC notifying the same when you receive test email )
for Oath, you have to be physically present in Canada.

My background check is still in progress and I got scheduled for the test. Not sure how common this is, I was under the same impression that BGC will get complete before getting scheduled for test

How long does it take after submitting fingerprints for the results to be received by IRCC? I was told they'd receive it in 3 weeks where I did mine but its been more than 3 weeks now and no update in my tracker.

I gave mine yesterday and wht the finger printing agency said was a 4-6 weeks in total to get status update and this includes a week to RCMP

Does anyone know what the reason for the below could be?

The background verification returned to "In progress" although the fingerprint result did not expire!

Fingerprint request: November 5, 2021,
Submitted: November 6, 2021.
Received: December 20, 2021.
Background verification status was updated to "completed" Jan 2022.
Background verification status was updated to "in progress" again in March 2022.

I have test invite and do I need to book a exam slot?? Or just go to test link register and take exam right away?

during the process if ur internet get disconnected what happens because of bad connection for god bid ?

do u have to upload picturesof your room from 4 sides cant see that any info just comparing it to IT certification exams.

Does your application tracker history (at the bottom half of the page) say fingerprint received ?

Status update - Citizenship test : I have to take the test between 3/25 and 4/14.
They also mentioned details will be sent to me but till now there is nothing - Will I get a separate email?
Note: all the rest of section are still in progress.

No email received, but I read here that one can login and take the test as long as its within the test window. Can you re-confirm please?
