biometrics is valid till 2030 in my case.

They will link existing biometic. you may have to give fresh medical if not given last 5 years.

I've been a long time silent spectator of this website. Thanks everyone for sharing their info.

Here is my application timeline. I'm CEC inland with no dependents. I hope this helps.

April 1 - AOR
May 3 - Medicals completed and biometrics linked to CIC account
May 23 - Background verification & Eligibility completed
May 23 - Received portal 1 email from Calgary. Responded to it the same day
May 24 - Received portal 2 email. Added my Address and uploaded photo on PR portal
May 26 - Received eCoPR.
May 26 - I sent a webform to expedite the issue of PR card as I have an upcoming international travel plan. I uploaded my flight tickets.
May 27 - I linked my PR card application to CIC account
June 7 - Ghost Update 1
June 9 - PR card approved and mailed
June 15 - PR card received. It was shipped from Sydney, NS
