Hi, I have a litle problem with compliting the form for my travels. I am living in Slovenia (EU country). In the last 10 years I have traveled a lot (much more then 100x) abroad. Mostly Austria, Croatia, Serbia, Italy... I remember the trips I took to South end North America and some others, but do I realy need to write down ALL trips or what?
Don't know what country your going through, but check the checklist in your country specific guide.
If it says under 14:
•Persons submitting their application to the Canadian visa office in Paris must complete the attached IMM 5562 form, Supplementary Information – Your travels.
If your not going through Paris, you don't need it.
Somebody may need to correct me, but I believe this is only for people applying through Paris VO and I believe you'll be applying through Vienna VO, so you may not need to actually fill in this form.
Again, I'm not really an expert, so I would recommend you wait for confirmation from the more experienced and knowledgeable members of the forum.
Thank you verymuch mel_n and Elizabeth Joe , I must have missed that. It seems I don't have to fill that out. We are just starting the process so I might have a few more Q's. Hoping to get the PM till the end of 2012. I hope we won't have big problems. We have been married for 4,5 years, expacting our 2nd child and have an apartment in Calgary. My wife is a Canadian citizen.
From what you expose, it shouldn't be a problem at all (basing on cases I've read on this forum).
Good luck with everything and don't worry, we all go through the same issues. My husband was ripping his hair out filling that form when I read the fine print and told him he didn't have to.
