I received my Original Passport Request today.

My passport is valid until October 2023 and I think my program might take longer to complete by six months or so (1.5-2 years Masters degree).

Should I get a new passport made or should I submit this one and renew my passport and study permit while in Canada?

You can renew your passport and SP later, but you'll have to pay for the renewal process.
