What has been the funniest Culture Shock story you've heard, seen or been involved in when you migrated to North America?
When we just moved here and the mailman came and my Dad talked with him for a bit. When the mailman left he said he "See you later".
My dad stayed outside for about 45 min thinking he'll come back.
When I first came here I went to Walmart and asked for a torch and the person looked at me confused and said "I am sorry but we dont carry any olympic torch" I later figured out its a flash light
There is difference between lemon and lime
There is also a difference between biscuits and cookies. Cookies to me were something you only deleted from temporary internet files and folders on your computer

My big one was ordering coffee at Tim Hortons LOL. I am used to ordering by just saying 1 coffee back home
So I went to Tims and ordered a coffee and they lady was like how do you take your coffee and I was like just coffee and she was so how do you take it and I was like umm.. HOT and she giggled and said how much sugar or cream
took me a full 5 min to get my coffee LOL
