I applied for PR for my 5 months old son under Family Class Sponsorship Programme. Medical passed a month ago but have not received PPR. My understanding is that, the validity of medical exsm results is 1 year. So once medical is passed, it would not take much time to receive PPR, but I am yet to receive PPR. Not sure why it is taking time in my case. Experienced people, please share your views.

Hi,
I don't really understand... What is the timeline? When did you apply for your son's PR? What visa office?!
Usually they do try to issue a visa (if everything is okay with the case and they don't have needs to investigate something more)... Before the medicals expire... They are valid for one year... If they expire and they need to work more on the case they will just request for the medical examination to be redone...
So on order for us to be more helpful please share your timeline.

My partner's medicals passed on May 25, 2017 and they extended validity until May 2018. (His medical results expired July 30, 2017). We are still waiting for PPR (almost 5 months later). We applied in January 2017. When did you make the application for your son?
