I just got my confirmation of permanent residence in the mail and the place of birth is wrong??! I have zero idea how this happened as the city written on there is a completely different city than the one I was born in (it's in a different country even!) and there is NO way I would have written that on my application (I went back to check and it says the correct place in my submitted application).
UGH I'm so annoyed. On the document it says:
"You must inform us of any correction required to the name, date of birth, passport number or expiration date on the Permanent Resident Visa" but this is different since it's place of birth that is wrong.
What should I do? I was planning to do landing next week!
When I did that last time it took them a month to reply, so I think I would rather call. But I'm tempted to try PR landing tomorrow (I live by the border) and see if it's an issue. I figure it might be just fine since it's not an issue with name/DOB or passport number.

I contacted the Visa Office that I sent my passport to and issued the CoPR via Webform and mail. They told me to send the passport and CoPR back to them for correction.
Old vignette was cancelled and new CoPR and Counterfoil was issued.
