Hello everyone!
I recently just got approved for my 2nd study permit extension and I have received the physical copy in the mail yesterday. However, I found an error on my document which was my country of birth. I have a citizenship of country A and was born in country B; but in my document, It states that I am born and have the citizenship of country A. The problem is I will be travelling in 2 weeks, and the processing time to amend this mistake takes 6 weeks. I was was wondering if any of you had a similar problem and travelled out of Canada and got in?
I have already spoken to an agent and was told that I should be fine as long as I explain it to the officer and also apply to amend it when I return. The important thing is that my TRV info matches my passport (which it does). I was also told that this mistake will not cause any problems with me being legally able to study in Canada even with the mistake. I'm just a bit anxious about entering Canada again with that mistake on their end (>.<)
