I just realized that there was one wrong answer to one of the statutory questions for my EE application. It seems that the answer cannot be modified or changed through MYCIC. To make things worse, my EE application was filed in Sep 2015 and I just realized my mistake today. I did not mean to cheat, it was totally due to my negligence. Do you know what should I do? Your advice is highly appreciated.
However, I have seen people sending "Case Specific Enquiries" CSE for such cases.
Just send one and explain your situation. They should be able to amend your profile after your request.

Thank you so much for your suggestions and advice. I just sent out CSE to CIC, however their automated message shows the turnaround time for a response is of 30 business days for case specific inquiries. My application was filed 5 months ago and I was expecting a decision to be made in the coming month. Finger crossed and wish the problem can be solved before they start working on my application.
I'm EXACTLY at the same situation, I've answered ( by mistake ) Statuary Question for my spouse with No but the correct Yes she was refused a visitor visa last year, accidentally I said No.
I'm AOR 02 Nov, CIC didn't say anything about this mistake but I sent CSE on Saturday 06 Feb clarifying my mistake and attached a copy of CIC refusal letter.
Please keep connected to know what the consequences will be,
Good luck

Hi EhabHassaneen and other fellow members of this forum,
Just want to let you know that my application has been closed and approved. 2 days after I filed CSE to explain the mistake I made, I received the " ready for visa" email from CIC. To my surprise, I was not asked for additional document ( I am not sure it is due to their negligence or it is not necessary at all.)
Anyway it is a good lesson for me. I should have been more careful. But I am sure I will be more careful in the future!
