I am currently in Canada on a Young Professional work permit under IEC and my employer has filed an LMIA application for me. My current WP expires on Nov 11th and we haven't heard back about the LMIA result. Is there an option similar to an Open Bridge WP for people who are waiting for the PR results?

No - unfortunately there is no such thing. IECs also do not benefit from implied status. You'll have to stop working as soon as your IEC visa expires. You'll be able to start working again once you have your new work permit approved.
