Worried a bit, need some genuine advice.

Hi guys, I have applied for PR through Express entry, I am the primary applicant, I am worried since my spouse was on study visa in canada and he did not pay the credit card bill in 2014, but he left the country before the expiration of student visa. He has not broken any law during his stay there. Will that create a problem in security check for our profile ? Please give genuine suggestions.

No it shouldn't be an issue. It may be an issue when you try to get established in Canada.

Credit score will be shot
Where I used to work , your credit score was pulled prior to being offered a job .
Bad credit score = no job offer

Why didn’t they pay their credit card bill ?
Having to leave the country before the expiration of their visa has nothing to do with paying their bill
It’s called being responsible

Unfortunately pretty common. Also lots of cell phone plans and smartphones that go unpaid and new phone leaves the country as well.
