Hi everyone
I have been working as office administrator in clinic for 2 yrs . Today i got my payroll for 1-15 jan and i worked 8 hrs for 5 days and so that mean my payroll must include 88 hrs excluding wed and thursday bcoz our clinic is closed ... so i worked 11 days that made 88 hrs biweekly .. but one incident happened that due to the personal reasons my owner deducted hrs and made payroll for 85.75 hrs ... i want to ask that has employer have right to deduct hours from employee payroll only because of personal issues ... and that day he himself punch the time out and print 9 am to 2:45 pm .... that is so cruel and not worthy .... do you think guys that i should complain to ministry of labour for workplace harrasment ...plz help me guys i want my full hrs and money ....
Actually its his personal issues ... and he convinced me to not to take payment from his known but i took payment and he said why didnt you do what i have said ... so he deducted my payment and he printed less hrs on my punch time out
Contact labour standards in the province you live in. Whether he has some personal issue or not, it’s a labour standards issue over hours worked and payroll.do you keep your own records of the hours you work?
thats my owner personal reason he deducted my hrs and paid less so i believe thats not a reason to deduct money from employee wages becoz of his personal grudges ....answer please am i right or not ?
Thanks
