Hi All,

I am an Indian citizen and am about to receive Canadian PR. I am getting an option to work remotely from Canada for the Indian company where I am currently working. Is there any kind of tax related implications or any kind of implications at all if I work remotely for 2-3 months for my Indian company on Indian payroll while living and searching job in Canada?

Thanks.

Regards,
Amit

There's really no implication to working remotely from a Canadian perspective. You would file taxes like anyone else declaring your worldwide income.

But tax on Indian income would be deducted in India, so it will lead double taxation if I will be considering this India income while filing tax in Canada, right?
