I have IM-1 visa type and I will be landing in Canada in June for the PR card. I don't have any source of income from Canada government. I will be working remotely for an Indian company though.
- While doing so am I violating any Canadian laws?
- Do I need to inform the Canadian government about my source of income from the Indian company
- If yes, can I please get a list of documents I need to fill out or pay the taxes.
Once landed as a PR you can work for whomever you want in Canada or for some company outside Canada remotely whilst you are based in Canada.
As for taxes suggest you do some research on the CRA site given you will need to account for any income in your tax return once you become resident for tax purposes.

Will I be a resident as soon as I land or only after I get the PR card?
As soon as you land. Yes you will have to declare all international income once you are a Canadian resident. Seems only fair if you (or your family) are using Canadian services don't you think?
Yes, it does

Thanks
