As much as I would like to stay in Canada, there are more job opportunities in the US. After the citizenship, will there be a hindrance for me to staying in the US and work? What are the implications for me and what if I bring my family with me there? Are there benefits that will revoked? Can my citizenship be revoked if I stay too long out?
No there is no hindrance. Many people have done it. They will not revoke your citizenship (and yes, this includes people who become a citizen after C-24 comes into effect).
