I hold a working holiday visa from Germany which expires in September 2013. I plan on taking a 2 weeks trip back to Germany this summer. When I re-enter Canada, will my working holiday visa still be valid or will it be turned into a visitor visa?
Your working holiday visa will still be valid. The "Does not authorize re-entry" on your visa does NOT apply to German citizens.
I left Canada quite a few times with my working holiday visa.
I have already received my work permit but on the document it is written “This does not authorise re-entry”. Am I allowed to leave and re-enter Canada?
A: This notation does not affect German / Dutch passport holders. If you keep the work permit stapled in your passport, you will be able to leave and re-enter Canada as long as your work permit remains valid.
