Working for US employer under the Federal Skilled Worker program?

If I am granted Permanent Residency through the Express Entry Federal Skilled Worker program, am I required to find employment by a Canadian employer? Or is it possible to continue to work for my US employer as a contractor?

It does not matter who you work for. You have to just meet residency obligations for maintaining PR and getting Citizenship.
