Hello folks,
I was wandering if time spent working for a Canadian registered and establish company outside of Canada would be considered for PR.
thanks
Somehow I don't think so.
'Coz one principle behind CEC is getting established within the Canadian culture and way-of-life as a soft requirement to being a PR. This will seem limited for the case you mentioned.
In my home country for example, there is a SunLife of Canada, but it doesn't mean employees there are even familiar with daily Canadian routine.
Even if I started working with them here and 2 months later I'm sent to a location outside of Canada?
Maybe in theory....if your reference letter (using the Canadian address) certifies you work for them
Nope. The guidelines consistently specify "in Canada" (OP25a, in particular section 10.11, "Qualifying work experience").

Nope. It says CANADIAN EXPERIENCE .... so working for a Canadian Company outside Canada certainly is not Canadian Experience.
Yes if you briefly (few days) left to visit customer/partner, attend industry event, etc.
No if you were just doing regular work outside Canada.
Ok thanks for all the information.
