Worked for a company and didn't get paid

Last year I was offered a job (contract) by a company and started to work right away (they said that i could start working while applying for TWP and get paid as soon as it was ready) after months waiting for the LMO which came negative, I was told they would ask for a new LMO and i should take a leave of absence just to realize later (4 months) on that they had done nothing.

Now i have PR can i do something about it?
