I'm a PR and have just recently crossed the 1095 days physical presence requirement and plan to apply for citizenship soon. I'm currently employed in the US as in I pay US tax and earn USD but I've been working remotely from Vancouver BC Canada since 2.5 years which actually helped me with my physical presence requirements. I've included my US income when filing my Canadian taxes and have also paid taxes in Canada on the foreign US income. So my question is as below:
When I enter details of employment in the Citizenship application, should I give the address that I physically reside ( Canadian address) or should I give my office address in the US ?
Unless you are a self employed consultant, your place of residence cannot be the place of work / address of employer. State the facts, even if it looks ‘weird’ you will be able to prove that during your interview.
