One of my previous employers has refused to provide letter on required format. The letter they've provided includes:
applicant’s name
the company’s contact information.
the name, title and signature of the personnel officer at the company
position held
job title
duties and responsibilities,
dates worked for the company
And does not include:
number of work hours per week
annual salary plus benefits (They have provided salary slips and the Job offer is also available)
Any suggestions what should I do for the work hours. I've tried to persuade them but they refused.

Hi, they've refused to provide further letters but they have sent a scanned copy of employment contract that is signed by the both the parties, along with company stamp, and it includes all the details such as work hours and salary. Would this be sufficient along with reference letter and salary slips.
Further, I've received a letter from one of the other employers and they have provided on the format requested by CIC. Do I need to attach anything else?

That would be sufficient. All CIC wants is to know your duties, pay and hours of work. They also do require it all to be on papers with company logo. If you cannot get one with company logo but can instead verify it with employment contract with company logo, then that would be enough. But to write a Letter of Explanation and explain why the reference letter doesn't have company logo.

Reference letter and employment contracts are provided on the company's letterhead and salary slips are marked with official stamp of the company. Reference letter includes everything except salary details and work hours, for which salary slips and employment contract are there.
For the other employer, the reference is on the letterhead and includes all the necessary details requested by CIC.
