Work Permit To Work In Health Care

I have a friend who is currently enrolled in courses at a local college in the field of child disabilities. She is working part time as a cashier to help pay for expenses. She would like to work at the hospital where I work, but she tells me that her visa is restricted and she cannot work with children or in health care. I can probably get her a job as a housekeeper or a porter, but she needs to have the restrictions lifted. What should she do to get this done ??

She should get a CIC authorized medical examination done and update her existing permit status.
