I am currently in the process of renewing my work permit. The current stage I am at is my employer has put in a new LMO application. My questions are:
if a positive LMO is provided by Service Canada, how long does it then take to renew the work permit? Will I need to do another medical as I am already in Canada?
If I decide to apply for a different job somewhere else (in case my current employer's LMO does not come back positive) and the new employer puts in a LMO application and it comes back positive .... when I then apply for the new work permit, will it be considered a work permit renewal? What will the processing time be then for this situation?
Just wondering about processing times because my current work permit expires on 7th September so am gettting a bit worried about the whole time line situation and if I will get a work permit renewed before then.
