Work Permit & RE-ENTRY

Hi,

Work visa was stamped on my passport back in 2013 (valid till 2015).
It shows MULTIPLE for number of entries.

However, when I entered Canada, the issued WORK PERMIT (valid till 2015) shows
THIS DOES NOT AUTHORIZE RE-ENTRY

Is not it confusing that my passport has multiple visa stamped and my work permit shows 'does not authorize re-entry'?

Does it mean that I cannot re-enter Canada without a visa and I will have to apply for it separately (possibly IMM5257)?

Hi

All work and study permits state that they do not authorize re-entry.

The multiple-entry TRV in your passport and your work permit are 2 different things. The first allows you to enter Canada and the second allows you to work in Canada.
