Hello everyone. Just wanted to know if anyone knows exactly how long it takes for Singapore visa office to process work permit applications. I am with a job offer and applied for PR already along with WP application.

The CIC website says it would take only a month for my country. But it is already been more than that. Any idea anyone??

On the website it says the processing time is just a guideline based on how long it has taken in the past, not how long it will actually take now.
A friend of mine has been waiting on her PR renewal since September. I've been waiting on my IEC approval for 8 weeks.
 
Thanks for the reply. I am actually asking about the WP, I know PR will take time and that's OK with me. Just wondering how long it might take VO to process the WP application first. Any idea?

At least 5 months. I know a few freinds who processed in SG through paper base. Mine was online, also took 4 1/2 months before i received PPR.
 
Thnx for the reply. Hope it speeds up this year as CIC says they have changed their processing procedures so it would be faster for them who applied after December 28 last year. Let's see!
