Work Permit Processing time (from India)

Hi Everyone,

My work permit application is in process and wanted to check the time to get approval. Below are the details:

-> Work permit submission date: July 1st.
-> Biometric submission date: July 8th.
-> Please find the current status of the application in the image attached here: https://drive.google.com/file/d/1138-HQWJxut-fJ3qAX8gimWDnR1V_t0G/view?usp=sharing
-> Medical Exam passed on August 10th.
-> Currently background check is in process.
-> The application is under GTS(Global Talent Stream). LMIA approved.

Btw, on the IRCC website, it is showing 42 weeks. But my two friends got the work permit approved in 2 months after submitting biometrics in April.

Kindly help me to get the approximate processing time for my work permit application.

GSS applications are much faster than normal WP. Processing is usually 1-2 months but there is n exact timeframe. Also depends on where application is being processed. Some offices are much more overwhelmed at the moment.
