Guys,
I am currently under Implied status . I had applied for PNP Ontario Masters and would be getting it soon. My question is
1

o I have to apply for new work permit with the support letter ? If this is the case , is there "Implied status on Implied status" so that I dont lose my status as worker.
2:Or Can I add PNP documents to the already sent WP application assuming that PNP comes before CIC gets to my application ?
There is not much information on the CIC website about this and I need your guidance on this .
ThankYou
Pls advise anyone .CIC call center is not much of a help ???
I think you should wait till CIC reviews your current work permit application...you can send a copy of your support letter/nomination letter to CIC with your UCI..which you can find on your previous work permit...keep checking your email including junk mails in case CIC asks you to send ur support letter from ontario...did you specify ur pnp file number when you filed ur wp application?
@Guarav,I have not been nominated yet...I am hoping it comes before CIC gets to my application ...Yes I did send the letter that I received from Opportunities Ontario with the file #
So this strategy will work ?
Hey Guys can someone help me. i want to apply for an open work permit since i have an application on process for PR. But the problem is, can i still apply for it even my recent work permit was receivedlast Jan 5, 2013. My application for PR got received at CIO last DEC 17 2012. Do you think i can able to get An Open Work Permit?? I really want to have an extra Job. Btw i wan nominated under AINP FOOD INDUSTRY SEMI- SKILLED.
THANKS

You qualify for an open work permit if you all under the following conditions. New bridging open work permit.
the “Eligibility EC-QC/PNP” status has been set to “Passed” or the Acknowledgment of Receipt letter/e-mail has been sent by the Centralized Intake Office (CIO).

All the best.

What I want to know is If PNP comes before CIC gets to my WP application , will I be able to add the PNP support/nomination letter to the already sent WP application or will I have to apply for a new WP application ?

I think so...just send it to them...by mail...specifying ur UCI number on ur application....
Can experts/seniors verify this please ?
man u cant take a implied status on implied status...if you apply for work permit now..u will have to apply in restoration of wp category...which means if your first wp application is rejected..u have to stop working until ur restoration of wp is accepted....
Hey guys,
I got the PNP certificate and WP support letter .I already sent them to add them to my wp application .CIC is still processing dec30th application so mine is still in queue.
What do you think ? will it work ? Or should I cancel WP application and apply for restoration
