hi everyone!!!!
I need a little help.I got this month my work permitfor 1year but its says "NOT AUTHORIZE RE-ENTRY!". Does anyone know how can I change it to allow me re-entry Canada? I would like to visit my parents in august.
I think my visa is not multiple reentry
Thank you for your stop by!
That is a standard statement written on all study permits and work permits. What it means is that having the permit alone does not authorize re-entry.
If you are from a country that needs a temporary resident visa(TRV) to visit Canada, you need to have a valid TRV and valid study/work permit to re-enter Canada. The only exception to this rule(i.e. when you can re-enter Canada using only your valid study/work permit) is if you travel to US or St. Pierre and Miquelon only and return to Canada.
If you are from a visa-exempt country(e.g. US, UK, etc) then you only need a valid study/work permit and passport to re-enter Canada.
