Work permit is in process and Implied status is expiring

Hello people,

I have a quick question.My wife work permit is expiring on 5th February 2022 and I've applied for extension on 13th October 2022 under spouse work permit extension. she received Implied status untill February 17th,2022 which is expiring next month.We're worried as my wife will go out of status after Implied status is expired even though work permit status is pending.Please give me your valuable information what could be done next after Implied status is expired?
