Work Permit Extension

Hello Guys,

I applied for a work permit extension on a paper application on Dec 2019 and still awaiting further information from CIC to do biometrics, I still have not linked my application online (tried but not able to do so, any help is appreciated).

Should I just wait for CIC to contact me for biometrics? Or should i call them.

I know that feeling.
My PGWP was refused at 6th Jan.
They said I was not continuelly fulltime studying. But actually I did.
I requested for reconsideration at 9th Jan, and reapplied by paper at 31th Jan.
So far, I haven't get any updates about both the reconsideration and the reaaplied paper based application.
I totally understand your feeling. I keep checking my email and CIC account every single day, feel upset every day.

Actually paper application is too slow. I tried everything to get is processed by now but nothing worked. I applied on 22nd November, since this date I haven't worked.

I wish so so so so but at the moment very miserable.

I have just been informed by my employer that my had been referred for further review on 20th February 2020 to Ottawa. But no communication by either Immigration office yet.

Does anyone know why did this happen. How long would it take. Did anyone face this situation before?

No, I heard that the processing time may be even slower because of the covid-19.
